Golden Globes 2014

Taylor was invited to the Golden Globes this year because she was nominated for best original song in a motion picture for "Sweeter Than Fiction" from the upcoming One Chance movie.

This was an especially big honor because the movie hasn't even been released yet.

Anyways back to Tay, she looked incredible as usual. Her hair looked very Speak Now era with the curls and it being pinned back. Her makeup was flawless and her dress was beautiful. She wore a strapless red gown with black edges and her jewelry was also something to talk about. One of her rings looked very much like a rose (coincidence? we aren't so sure).

And just who accompanied Taylor to such a prestigious event? Why Austin of course! They both looked like they enjoyed themselves.

When Taylor was being interviewed on the red carpet by Ryan Seacrest, an oblivious Jennifer Lawerence climbed up the stairs and made a jokingly terrifying face at Taylor (assuming the camera had a closer pan on Tay and that they weren't streaming live). Ryan invited Jennifer to join the interview and the girls hugged and shared with the world one of the GREATEST and best kept secrets of all time: they're good friends. Jen joked about how she was going to push Tay down the stairs and she revealed how proud she was when she watched Tay get her Pinnacle Award. Jen even sent Taylor a text that Tay referred to as "the most heart warming text" she's ever gotten. Ryan asked if Jen had been to any of Taylor's shows and she answered no, saying Tay never invited her. Taylor quickly dismissed that saying she invited her all the time and Jen laughed acknowledging she hadn't been to a concert because she was never in town. In one interview, 2 fandoms were completely slain and eternally joined. Swifties and JLaw fans. What a perfect pairing.

Taylor did not win the Golden Globe (it went to Bono), but she didn't seem too upset and other than Tina Fey's subtle dig at her during the show, everything seemed to go off without a hitch. Taylor was seen talking with bestie Sarah Hyland and her friend Jennifer Lawrence.

Tay attended the after party with Sarah, Hailee Steinfeld, Odeya Rush, and Jaime King. The girls all looked like they were having an amazing time. Taylor changed out of her gown into a mesh black mini dress that looked fantastic on her. She also met and hung out with other celebrities like Jared Leto.

New Years 2014

Happy New Year! It is finally 2014!

We hope all of you had an incREDible new years like we did.

Now lets see what the Queen herself was up too on New Years Eve.

She spent the evening with some of her dear friends, the lovely Miss Sarah Hyland, Sarah's boyfriend Matt Prokop, and Abigail. From the looks of it everyone had a fun time, even Meredith!

MERRY SWIFTMAS!!!!

Let's see how Taylor and her amazing family spent the holidays this year.

Taylor gave Austin an early Christmas gift which he clearly adores. She stitched a quote from Gary Busey and framed it for him:

And finally, Taylor shared a picture of her and Austin in matching Christmas onsies. The hat she is wearing belonged to Ronan and was given to her by Maya. Apparently Maya was having a very rough Christmas Eve until Taylor posted this picture. We miss you Ronan.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

Angels. Lingerie. Costumes. Taylor Swift. What an unlikely combination – or so we thought. Taylor was the headlining performer, along with Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World, and Neon Jungle. Taylor and VS Angel Lily Alderidge caused the entire swiftie fandom to freak out by posting pictures together backstage at the show while it was filming. The new BFFS seemed to have a lot of fun together and with model Cara 

Delevingne. The models also did lip sync video to "I Knew You Were Trouble" which was super cute (watch it here). 

So exactly how did Taylor become a part of the show? Well according to Ed Razek, the Chief Marketing Officer of Limited Brands, it all occurred while having dinner with Angel Lily Alderidge. He mentioned how great it would be to have Taylor perform at the show and Lily revealed that both she and Tay live in Nashville and are friends. She sent Tay a note and Taylor agreed to do it. 

Before the show Taylor stunned in a sparkly floral mini. 

Taylor opened the show along with Fall Out Boy joining them in singing their hit song “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark.” It was glorious and you can check it out here. She rocked the British flag in a sexy high lo dress and adorable top hat. Needless to say she was perfect and FOB was wonderful.

She returned to the stage for the final “scene” and performed “I Knew You Were Trouble.” She changed the song up slightly with an incredible high note that made a fantastic song an incredible song (watch here). She wore a bedazzled mini dress that was gorgeous. It was hard to tell if she was one of the models or not. Speaking of models, she and the Angels had some fun on stage, walking together or slapping butts in typical girl fashion. It was really fun to watch and clearly the models (all except 1) loved having her there. 

After the show the Angels/Models were having their “class” picture taken. During the photo session the models called out Taylor and asked her to join them. Taylor’s reaction? “What? Me?” The photographer’s answer: “Who can say no to Taylor swift?” and with that we have this picture:

 

Taylor's 24th Birthday

It's official: the queen is 24 years old.

Taylor spent her birthday in Australia this year and from the looks of it, she had a lot of fun. She hung out with her band, dancers, and other friends at a party in a rose garden. One of the most notable friends in attendance was Lorde. Taylor shared quite a few pictures of her special day with swifties every where, and a lot of these shots include roses. This has lead to a lot of speculation in the fandom about whether or not roses have something to do with the upcoming 5th album. I guess we'll know for sure soon enough.
